How does laser hair removal work?

What precautions should be taken before and after treatment?
You must avoid bleaching, plucking, or waxing hair for 3-4 weeks prior to treatment. If you have done so, a treatment can be given, but may be less effective since hair removal works best on hair follicles in the growth stage.

How Many Treatments will I need?
Hair grows in cycles. The number of treatments required depends upon your skin, hair coloring and coarseness of the hair. The procedure can take as little as 10 Minutes or up to an hour, depending on the area being treated. All patients can go home immediately following treatment.

Dermalplaning as their treatment of choice.

What is Dermal Planing?

Is there any downtime with laser hair removal?
The treatment area may become pink or red within about 30 minutes of treatment; this may last from a few hours to several days.

Is there any harm that can come from laser hair removal?
Most patients are not aware that laser hair removal works with the use of a photon. The light released from the laser is similar to that of multiple flashes from a camera.

What is the cost of laser hair removal?
The value of laser treatment is its effectiveness and cost compared to previous time-consuming procedures such as electrolysis and waxing. Our fees are competitive and discounts are given for package purchases.

Is laser hair removal covered by insurance?
